Cêsart Celedôn
As an Artist, I develop the elements of my imagination, extracted from the depth of my dreams. I describe the subconscious as a fertile ground, the habitat where the nightmares of the past, the challenges of the present and the hopes of the future coexist.
I am tied to my creative needs and the permanent sensitivity hidden in the environment that surrounds me every day. It is this distorted environment, which becomes my inspiration and the setting for most of my works.
Growing up, I learned the value of simple things. I learned to connect more deeply with the sensitivity and balance present in the forms of nature. I dreamed of discovering new landscapes, colours and ways to express my creativity.
Little by little I was creating compositions that were increasingly complex in content. I learned to use my subconscious in favor of the development of my works, extracting from it the ideas and stories present in my dreams
In this way I began to develop my first collection as a visual artist, entitled “Naturalismo Onírico" An extensive review through several creative years, overwhelmed with the surrealism and the mysticism intrinsic of my the wildest and most ferocious dreams.
little by little my admiration grew for those beautiful forms present in nature and their important value. And I went deeper in the information and committing myself personally and professionally with ecology.
In my time in different cities around the world, I realized that there was a place for environmentally conscious artists and creatives, like me. I learned about mass production, industrial pollution and how we can contribute to the protection and conservation of the planet. These experiences led me to further report, study, and analyze the damage we have perpetuated to our ecosystem.
Under this context, the need to raise awareness in the community through the creation of a new collection of works made entirely with recycled materials began to take shape in my mind. That collection of “up-cycling” was titled it: "Native Consciousness", due to my search to connect environmental problems by bringing them closer to small communities, in the representation of elements typical of pre-Hispanic cultures in Chile.
That was how through the transversal language of Art, I shared a message of sustainability, ecology and culture. And contribute to strengthen the vital link between the conservation of our nature and the identification with our own native descendants.
Since I arrived to Canada, I have been teaching and conducting art workshops. I Also participated in an exhibition as member of an LGBTQ+ Organization last summer. I am currently working on my own collection of Art pieces that are representative and inspired by LGBTQ+ community and the dramatic struggle for freedom and rights that migrants go through in today's world.

MISSION
Over the past few years, I have had the privilege of working with various organizations and community centers in Montreal.
Through my volunteer work, I have witnessed the transformative power of art as a form of empowerment and personal development. I have had the honor of teaching and guiding art workshops that have provided individuals and groups with a means to heal, express themselves, and find the way to overcome discrimination, isolation and social segregation.
I firmly believe that art has the ability to heal, to bridge gaps, and to empower individuals from diverse backgrounds. It is with this belief that I am embarking on a new journey to create an art collection that not only represent your community but also sheds light on the struggles faced by any marginalized communities in today's world.

PROJECTS
Red Ribbon Project
The Red Ribbon Project is an inspiring art initiative created by the immigrant artist Cêsart Celedôn, originally from Chile and now residing in Montreal, Canada. Cêsart Celedôn, also known as @cesartceledon, is not only an artist but also a dedicated art teacher, passionate about teaching various art techniques to others.
As a refugee claimant and an immigrant in Canada, Cêsart Celedôn understands the struggles faced by marginalized communities, particularly those living with HIV. The Red Ribbon Project aims to use art as a powerful tool for expression, therapy, and empowerment, especially for individuals living with HIV.
The heart of the project lies in conducting art workshops in collaboration with different LGBTQ+ and AIDS organizations across Canada. Participants from these organizations, including members and individuals living with HIV, will have the opportunity to create art pieces on large-sized canvases. Each canvas will feature a painted red ribbon across the middle, symbolizing the fight against HIV and the solidarity of the project.
Cêsart Celedôn will guide the art workshops, helping participants explore their creativity and express their feelings and life stories through art. The project seeks to break the social stigma and discrimination associated with HIV/AIDS and create greater awareness and empathy within the community.
The culmination of the Red Ribbon Project will be an art exhibition showcasing the diverse and meaningful art pieces created during the workshops. This exhibition will serve as a platform for fundraising events, where the art pieces will be auctioned and sold online to support various AIDS organizations in Canada.
The project aims to make a significant contribution to the LGBTQ+ art and AIDS communities in Canada, highlighting the challenges faced by individuals living with HIV and providing them with greater visibility and support.
Overall, the Red Ribbon Project, spearheaded by Cêsart Celedôn, is a compassionate and impactful effort to use art as a means of social consciousness, community awareness, and action in the fight against the stigma and criminalization of HIV/AIDS. Through artistic expression, this project seeks to empower individuals and create positive change in society.

SERVICES
Art Workshops & Volunteering.
Constantly developing art workshops that provide a therapeutic outlet for individuals facing various challenges, including depression, loneliness, health issues, and difficult backgrounds. These workshops are aimed at fostering creativity and resilience.
Facilitating art workshop as a volunteer for the LGBTQ organizations and community centers around Montreal area. Also permanently volunteering at seniors support Organization EBM.
Group Art Workshops
Fluid painting and bubbling painting are ideal techniques for working in group sessions and collaborating in a safe artistic environment, without any strict directions, rigid structures, or technical limitations.
This form of abstract art has endless creative possibilities due to the different ways of combining materials, shapes, and colors.
The “bubbling” technique consists of letting the colored bubbles spread freely over the surfaces, creating figures and patterns by themselves.
It is a very easy technique to perform, which makes it ideal for people of all levels.
Combined with other mixed painting techniques, we can achieve abstract designs and compositions in smooth, simple and free forms. Or they can also be colorful, expressive and as complex as we wish.
In essence, fluid painting and “bubbling” painting allows us to learn a lot about materials, composition, design and color.
All this in a relaxed and free environment, where at the end of the session we will be able to share the diverse and surprising results of our creations.
